Dr. Kapil Ahuja

Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the CSE discipline at IIT Indore (India). Earlier, I completed a postdoc under Prof. Peter Benner at Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg (Germany). I completed my Ph.D. under the direction of Prof. Eric de Sturler from Virginia Tech (USA).

Research Interests:
Broadly, I work in the field of Computational Science and Engineering. This encompasses use of Mathematics and Computer Science to solve Science and Engineering problems. Specifically, I have research interests as follows:

1) Mathematics: numerical linear algebra, numerical analysis, optimization.
2) Computer Science: computational intelligence, big data, cloud computing.

Dr. Kapil Ahuja to organize and give research talks at the first IIT Indore - TU9 research workshop in Berlin (2nd and 3rd Nov 2016).

Dr. Kapil Ahuja to visit CFAED, TU Dresden (1st Nov 2016) and E.ON Energy Research Center, RWTH Aachen (4th Nov 2016) for giving research talks as well as collaboration.

Mr. Navneet Singh, invited by Prof. Dr. Heike Fassbender to TU Braunschweig, Germany from 10th Sept to 3th Oct 2016. Mr. Singh to also present at Reduced Basis Summer School from 4th-7th Oct 2016. Germany stay sponsored by TU Braunschweig and MPI Magdeburg.

Mr. Rajendra Choudhary, invited to Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg, Germany from 10th September 2016 to 8th October 2016 for research collaboration. Germany stay sponsored by Prof. Dr. Peter Benner (Director, Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg).

Dr. Kapil Ahuja to visit Germany from 5th June to 19th June for collaborations at TU Dresden, Leibniz University of Hanover, TU Braunschweig, Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg, and TU Berlin.
