Dr. Ajay Kumar Kushwaha

Dr. Kushwaha received M.Sc. degree in Physics (Electronics) from C.S.J.M University, Kanpur, India and Ph.D. degree in Physics (Nanomaterials) from IIT Bombay. He is Associate Professor at IIT Indore from November 2022. He joined IIT Indore as Assistant Professor in Department of Metallurgy Engineering and Materials Science in 2017. He was Inspire Faculty Fellow at School of Engineering in IIT Indore during 2016- 2017. Prior to join IIT Indore, he worked as a Scientist in Institute of Materials Research and Engineering, A*STAR, Singapore from Feb 2014 to July 2016. He also worked as Lecturer in Department of Physics at KCNIT Banda (2006-2007) and PSIT, Kanpur (2007). .


He is the recipient of DST-INSPIRE Faculty Award (2016) and SERB-Early Career Research Award (2017) from Government of India. Dr. Kushwaha is life-member of the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), Indian Physics Association (IPA), Electron Microscope Society of India (EMSI) and Luminescence Society of India (LSI) and member of Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). He has published more than 50 research articles, International Patent (Technology is licensed) and book chapters. Dr. Kushwaha is the regular reviewer for Nanotechnology, J. Physics D: Appl. Phys., Nanoscale, Thin Solid Films, J.Applied Electrochemistry, Ceramic International, Materials Research Express, Materials & Design, Surface Science and Engineering journals.
